LIMESTONE returned to action with a determined success at Cork on Friday evening, taking the Dine In Our Panoramic Restaurant Race over 1m2½f under J M Sheridan.

Making the running, the son of New Bay was joined before the straight but found more when challenged inside the final furlong, keeping on well to prevail close home. Trained by Joseph O’Brien, LIMESTONE was building on a progressive juvenile campaign that saw him register a win and two placed efforts from three starts.
Racing for the Valmont / Al Shaqab Racing / Ballylinch Stud partnership, LIMESTONE holds entries in both the Epsom Derby and the Irish Derby, and this return success adds further depth to his profile at the start of his three-year-old season.
