MEHMAS once again confirmed his status as Europe’s leading sire of sprinters. He currently ranks third among European and French sires of two-year-olds this week, underlining the consistency and quality of his progeny.
Over the past two weeks, MEHMAS has recorded 18 winners, including a Group 1 scorer and several highly promising young horses.
The highlight came from WISE APPROACH, a two-year-old colt out of SAGELEY (FROZEN POWER), who landed the Tattersalls Middle Park Stakes (Gr.1) at Newmarket, carrying the colours of Godolphin for trainer Charlie Appleby.
Another notable performance came from AWAKEN, a two-year-old filly out of CIRCULATION (OASIS DREAM), who finished fourth in the BoyleSports Home of Early Payout Rockfel Stakes (Gr.2) at Newmarket, representing Highclere Thoroughbred Racing – Maple and trainer George Boughey.
In total, eight two-year-olds, nine three-year-olds, and two older horses have been successful in the past fortnight, confirming the versatility and consistency that define the progeny of MEHMAS.
