More Group 1 for Al Mourtajez

HM Alchahine (Al Mourtajez) further strengthens his status as a champion by securing a second consecutive Group 1-PA victory in the Qatar Cup – Prix Dragon (Gr.1-PA), following his brilliant success in the Doha Cup (Gr.1-PA) this summer at Deauville (France). The son of our stallion AL MOURTAJEZ bred by H. Mousli and N. Mousalli retains his title in the day’s Purebred Arabian feature race at ParisLongchamp (France) and wins the fifth Group 1 of his career by four lengths.

AL MOURTAJEZ was also in the spotlight the previous day at La Teste-de-Buch (France), with Athena securing the second victory of her career in the Prix H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum. The Haseg and HM Al Ghatani-bred filly finished ahead of HM Miya, twice placed in three starts for MISTER GINOUX, giving our stallions a 1-2 finish.
