At La Martinique, ANGELOTUS captured the Prix de la Soufrière, a 1,600-metre contest run on soft ground.
The three-year-old filly by ROMANISED out of SHAMADIYNA (DAWN APPROACH), bred by Hervé Viallon, carried the silks of Cédric Verbeke for trainer Angela Thibaut. Ridden by Gabriel Bon, she crossed the line with four lengths to spare.
