MEHMAS added another Stakes performance to his record on March 17 at Chantilly, France, courtesy of the three-year-old MEHMIST, who finished third in the 1,100-meter Listed Prix Ronde de Nuit. Sporting the colors of her co-breeder Haras d’Etreham, alongside Katelanis Bloodstock, MEHMIST is a half-sister by MEHMAS to dual Group 1 runner-up ISLANDSINTHESTREAM, and she earned blacktype at her first attempt.

Our Tally-Ho Stud resident also celebrated a series of three-year-old winners across three countries. In France, DUCHESSE DE MORNY lost her maiden tag at Fontainebleau on March 14 for breeders La Motteraye Élevage and G.L. Ferron. In the UK, the Paul McCartan-bred BLINKY claimed his second consecutive and third career win in a handicap at Southwell on March 19. Across the Atlantic, INCANTO defeated six rivals to win at Gulfstream Park, USA, on March 22. Back in the UK at Southwell, both NELSON GAY and BELLARCHI crossed the finish line first, NELSON GAY earning his fifth career victory on March 11 for breeder Gerard Mullins, and BELLARCHI making a successful seasonal reappearance on March 15 for Con Marnane. At Wolverhampton, PHOENIX BEACH completed a double, scoring on both March 11 and March 22 by a two-length margin for Tally-Ho Stud.

The week was rounded off by ACCLAM, who recorded his fourth win over 1,800 meters at Lyon-La Soie, France, on March 23, for breeders Ecurie de Castillon, ZM Al-Khayarin, and HN. Al-Hababi.
