WOODED recorded a fresh juvenile success on Saturday as LE LEGIONNAIRE opened his account in the Prix Daouda Ka over 1500m at Tarbes. The colt became the latest two-year-old scorer for his sire, continuing a productive summer for the Haras de Bouquetot resident.

Bred by Sarl Jedburgh Stud, LE LEGIONNAIRE is out of Banmi, a daughter of Kodiac. He races in the joint ownership of Frances Dakers and trainer Charles Gourdain, and was guided to victory by Nuno Manuel Lopes Duarte, prevailing narrowly over his rivals after a strong finish.

Congratulations to all connections on this latest success.
