Wooded filly Woodwooded breaks through at San Sebastian

WOODED recorded his latest two-year-old scorer on Friday as WOODWOODED got off the mark in the 1,300-metre contest at San Sebastian. The filly was delivered with precision to claim her maiden success in the colours of Yeguada Escalona for trainer Miguel Alonso Roldan.

Bred by Chauvigny Global Equine SASU, Ecurie Brillantissime, La Fleche Racing and M. Brasme, WOODWOODED is out of Penny Whistle, a daughter of Penny’s Picnic.

This victory marks the fifth individual juvenile winner of 2025 for WOODED, the Haras de Bouquetot stallion who continues to make his presence felt with both his first two crops of racing age.
