Wooded's New Way Baby stikes at Chantilly

NEW WAY BABY, a three-year-old filly by WOODED out of NOUVELLE VOIE (OLYMPIC GLORY), struck on Thursday when landing the Prix de l’Hôtel de Vermandois at Chantilly.
Bred by Al Shaqab Racing and SCEA des Prairies, the filly carried the colours of Jean-Pierre Vanden Heede, was trained by J.-P. Macedo da Costa Oliveira and ridden by Benjamin Marie.
Settled in behind the leaders throughout the 1,200-metre straight contest, NEW WAY BABY found a gap on the inside before quickening through to score in this race restricted to three-year-olds.
