Wooded's Sport Wood strikes at Bordeaux

On Tuesday, SPORT WOOD, a two-year-old colt by WOODED out of SPORT GAME (AZAMOUR), made a successful debut when landing the Prix Philippe de Watrigant at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat.
Bred by Mme S. Dupray, he carried the silks of Gérard Augustin-Normand, for trainer Philippe Sogorb and jockey Alejandro Gutierrez-Val.
The colt showed professionalism and authority to secure victory in the 1,900-metre contest, run on soft ground and restricted to unraced two-year-olds.
