2-year-old G1 prospect for Shalaa

Arrowfield Stud-based SHALAA celebrated a juveline Group 1 prospect courtesy of F. Bianco and Mrs J. Bianco-bred SHALROMY who secured the hot maiden Prix des Roches Noires at Deauville, France on her own, displaying a well-noticed performance. She is now heading to the G1 Qatar Prix Marcel Boussac on the prestigious G1 Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe day.


SHALAA was also honored with our three-year-old homebred DAMSEL who continued her winning streak at Deauville when landing the 1,500 meters Prix du Pommeau on August, 23 under the ride of Theo Bachelot. Bred at Haras de Bouquetot, she is a half-sister to G2 winner and stallion DOHA DREAM in the care of Simone Brogi.


Haras d’Haspel-bred two-year-old BRISBANE was a new juvenile victor for our Haras de Bouquetot-based ZELZAL when opening her winning account at second asking on August, 27 at Deauville, France.


The winning two-year-old serie kept on going with AL WUKAIR with Thousand Dreams-bred GAODIO who was a first time scorer over the 1,600 meters of La Teste-de-Buch, France for his second start only.


Triple of winners in a day for Tally-Ho Stud-based MEHMAS on August, 24 with three-year-olds BICEP and FLAME OF EIRE scoring respectively a second consecutive win at Musselburg, UK for breeder R. Roberts and a third consecutive victory at Bellewstown, UK for Ballybeg Stud. On the very same day, four-year-old ASTIMEGOESBY crossed the finish line first at Sanlucar, Spain for Michael O’Mahony. MEHMAS ended the week with a victory on the other side of the Atlantic sea courtesy of MERZAZ at Gulfstream Park, USA on August, 28.


Tally-Ho Stud-based GALILEO GOLD was honored in Italy with three-year-old THOR DE SA MATTA who claimed a success over the 1,800 meters of Chilivani for breeder J.G. Reid.


Haras de Bouquetot-based TORONADO celebrated winners on both sides of the planet, starting in Australia with the successes of MAX MERCURY on August, 25 in a 1,600 meters maiden race at Bendigo, and with the win of LULU DARLING the following day in a 1,400 meters handicap at Racing.com Park Syn. In France, Haras de Bouquetot-bred LEVANT added a sixth-career victory to his tally over the 2,300 meters of Montier-en-Der.


Haras de Bouquetot-based OLYMPIC GLORY also counted on a triple of winners this week, starting with two-year-old MAIMOUNA who opened her winning account for Mathieu Daguzan-Garros for a total of one victory and four places out of five starts. In the UK, Oceanic Bloodsctock and Eric Puerari-bred BANNISTER claimed his fourth career-victory at Worcester on August, 23 and Haras de Bouquetot-bred AL GAIYA was a second time winner at Ffos Las on August, 25.
