New international Group glory this week for our freshman sire SHALAA with the strong victory of R.D. Hannon-bred two-year-old SHAQUERO in the 1,000m-G3 Arrowfield Breeders’ Plate down-under at Randwick on October, 3.
Tally-Ho Stud-based freshman sire MEHMAS celebrated a thrilling number of seventh and eighth blacktype performances: Peter Henley and John Connolly-bred MAGNANIMOUS finished a strong runner-up in the Listed Irish Stallion Farms EBF Star Appeal Stakes on October, 2 in Ireland at Dundalk and Thomas Hassett-bred MAMBA WAMBA faced 21 opponents in the Listed William Hill Two-year-old Trophy in England at Redcar to conclude an excellent third on October, 3.
In addition to these weekly performances, Ms Elaine Chivers-bred two-year-old filly MISHAL STAR added a new star to her tally with a second victory out of three starts in the 6,1 furlongs handicap test in England at Nottingham on September, 30. On the other side of the Atlantic ocean, QUATTROELLE cruised home to score at first asking on October, 3 at Santa Anita and therefore offered to her sire MEHMAS a very much impressive 34th individual scorer.
Haras de Bouquetot-based RULER OF THE WORLD also entered the danse of high-level performances with Michael Ryan-bred MONAS MELODY finishing a good third in the Listed Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mucklemeg Mares Flat Race in Ireland at Gowran Park on October, 2. Our stallion was also celebrated in Italy when TORQUATO crossed the finish line first at Firenze on October, 3 while his stablemate OLYMPIC GLORY had all the action on the other side of the planet this week, with three-year-old MIRAITOWA breaking his maiden tag in Australia at Ballarat racecourse.
TORONADO QUEEN showed majestic on September, 29 at Wolverhampton to capture a second consecutive success for breeder Deer Forest Stud and TORONADO, and she royally opened our stallion’s weekly winning account. Down-under, MARIAMIA made a winning seasonal comeback on October, 2 at Moonee Vallee while three-year-old RAINBIEL was a second time winner with 2,8 lengths-victory at Kyneton on October, 4. In France, SCEA des Prairies, T. Jeffroy and B. Jeffroy-bred two-year-old CASH EQUITY was a second time winner out of three starts on October, 3 at Angers.

Belle performance de Groupe cette semaine à mettre au crédit de notre étalon de première production SHALAA avec la victoire de l’élève de R.D. Hannon, SHAQUERO, dans le G3 Arrowfield Breeders’ Plate sur l’hippodrome australien de Randwick le 3 octobre.
L’étalon de première production basé à Tally-Ho Stud, MEHMAS, était également de la fête avec un septième et huitième performer blacktype : MAGNANIMOUS s’est brillamment octroyé le premier accessit de la Listed Irish Stallion Farms EBF Star Appeal Stakes le 2 octobre à Dundalk en Irlande pour le compte de ses éleveurs Peter Henley et John Connolly et MAMBA WAMBA a fait face à 21 opposants pour offrir une très belle troisième place dans la Listed William Hill two-year-old Trophy à son éleveur Thomas Hassett le 3 octobre outre-Manche à Redcar.
En complèment de ces performances, la pouliche âgée de deux ans et élevée par Elaine Chivers, MISHAL STAR, a ajouté une deuxième étoile à son palmarès crédité de trois sorties le 30 septembre sur l’hippodrome anglais de Nottingham. De l’autre côté de l’Atlantique, QUATTROELLE a bravé les flots pour s’imposer dès sa première sortie à Santa Anita et signer le 3 octobre une impressionnante 34ème victoire individuelle pour son père MEHMAS.
RULER OF THE WORLD a également pris part aux belles performances à haut-niveau de la semaine avec la troisième place de MONAS MELODY dans la Listed Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mucklemeg Mares Flat Race le 2 octobre en Irlande à Gowran Park pour le compte de son éleveur Michael Ryan. Notre étalon basé au Haras de Bouquetot était également célébré en Italie avec la victoire de TORQUATO le 3 octobre à Firenze tandis que son voisin de boxe, OLYMPIC GLORY, comptait sur MIRAITOWA le 30 septembre en Australie à Ballarat avec sa victoire dans un maiden.
Elevée par Deer Forest Stud, TORONADO QUEEN s’est montrée majestueuse le 29 septembre à Wolverhampton pour enregistrer une deuxième victoire consécutive et ouvrir royalement le compteur de victoires de la semaine de son père TORONADO. En Australie, MARIAMIA a signé un retour à la compétition victorieux le 2 octobre à Moonee Vallee tandis que RAINBIEL s’octroyait un deuxième succès consécutif par 2,8 longueurs le 4 octobre à Kyneton. En France, l’élevage de SCEA des Prairies, T. Jeffroy et B. Jeffroy a brillé pour la deuxième fois consécutive en trois sorties avec CASH EQUITY le 3 octobre à Angers.
