Classic prospect for Shalaa

Classic prospect WELWAL confirmed to be among the best of his three-year-old generation when displaying all his talent to land the G3 Prix de Fontainebleau on April, 17 over the mile of ParisLongchamp, France under our colors. Entrusted to Jean-Claude Rouget and ridden to victory by Cristian Demuro, our son of Arrowfield Stud-based SHALAA is now targeting the G1 Poule d’Essai des Poulains.

Owned in partnership with Ballylinch Stud, three-year-old PLACE DU CARROUSEL broke her maiden tag at second asking on April, 12 at Fontainebleau, France and holds a Classic entry in the G1 Prix de Diane on June. Ridden by Mikael Barzalona under our colors and in the care of André Fabre, she is the daughter of Group winning mare Traffic Jam.

Our colors were also honored with our homebred son of ZELZAL SELWAN who easily broke his maiden at Nancy, France on April, 11 with a 2,5 lengths success under the ride of Sébastien Maillot and the care of Nicolas Clément.


Tally-Ho Stud-based GALILEO GOLD celebrated a new Stakes performances courtesy of three-year-old HELLOMYDARLIN, the Tally-Ho Stud-bred finishing runner-up in the Listed Lansdown Stakes on April, 14 at Bath, UK on her comeback. Additional scorer of the week was three-year-old SOPRAN PECHINO who crossed the finish line first at Milano, Italy on April, 17.


RULER OF THE WORLD celebrated his 10th individual Stakes performer with Ronan Tynan-bred PINEAPPLE EXPRESS grabbing the third place of the Listed Noblesse Stakes at Cork, Ireland on April, 16 on her seasonal comeback. On the same day, five-year-old DUKE OF LIPS was seen winning at Bremen, Germany over 2,200 meters.


Haras de Bouquetot-based AL WUKAIR counted on two new scorers on both sides of the Atlantic ocean. Three-year-old VIRULENTE was seen in the winners’ enclosure at Santa Anita, USA on April, 15 while two-year-old RIBERA broke her maiden tag at Tarbes, France on April, 17 on her second start only for breeders SCEA des Prairies, T. and B. Jeffroy.


Haras de Bouquetot-based TORONADO celebrated another double of international winners in a day. Three-year-old EL TORERO opened his winning account in a handicap race at Senonnes-Pouance, France on April, 13 while a few minutes later, PERFECT ZED was honored over 1,000 meters at Port Lincoln, Australia. Down-under, five-year-old DALTORO won at Grafton while in France, six-year-old MON OURAGAN was a 8-times winner at Chateaubriant for breeders Framont Limited, M. Matthew and M.Beaumont.
