DUHAIL reached new heights and carried our colors to Group 2 victory on May, 1st when impressively winning the Prix du Muguet at Saint-Cloud.
Under the saddle of Vincent Cheminaud, our five-year-old showed great determination to win this highly competitive Group contest and add a seventh victory to his tally. The season looks bright for this son of Lope De Vega, in training with André Fabre.
Our colors were also seen in the winners’ enclosure this week with NOMAN and AL CAPDAMUNT who were respectively crowned as SHALAA’s 15th and 17th individual winners of the year. In the UK, Hugo Palmer-trained and Jason Hart-ridden powerful bay NOMAN made a winning seasonal return at Ayr on April, 27 to call to his name a second consecutive victory out of 3 starts. In France, AL CAPDAMUNT crossed the finish line first at Wissembourg on May, 1st for trainer Henri-François Devin and jockey Clément Lecoeuvre on his second start only.
