Group victory at Goodwood Festival

Our ARMOR impressed in the G3 Molecom Stakes during the prestigious Qatar Goodwood Festival for our colors with a devastating closing burst to outclass his rivals by 3 ¼ lengths. Entrusted to Richard Hannon, he was ridden by Ryan Moore and could target the G1 Prix Morny at Deauville on August, 22 or the G2 Flying Childers at Doncaster on September, 10 next.

Tally-Ho Stud-based MEHMAS continues to impressively increase the scores with a new Group performer. Unbeaten on his first two starts, Tom Lacy-bred two-year-old GUBBASS finished 3rd in the G2 Richmond Stakes on July, 29 during the Qatar Goodwood Festival on his first attempt at this level of the competition. The following day, MEHMAS celebrated two scorers in a day at Musselburgh, UK, with two-year-old SHAMLAAN breaking his maiden tag for breeder Ken Carroll, and three-year-old CLARENDON HOUSE posting a fourth and second consecutive success for breeder D.R. Tucker.

RULER OF THE WORLD also enjoyed a duet of winners on July, 27 in the UK with ISLAND NATION registering a victory for Allevamento Gialloblu Srl on his seasonal comeback at Perth and MAJOR SNUGFIT claiming a third win for Mrs H. Steel at Beverley.

OLYMPIC GLORY was seen in the winners’ enclosure in France with three-year-old FLYING EASY honoring her name with a second victory by 2,5 lengths on July, 26 at La Teste-de-Buch for breeders HN. Al-Hababi and ZM Al-Khayarin. Two-year-old PANDORA followed the same pace when getting the best over her rivals on July, 30 at Le Touquet for breeders Thierry de la Heronnière and Salabi Racing.

TORONADO counted on a set of international new winners this week, starting with a double of scorers on July, 28. Four-year-old SPINNING MIST claimed a handicap victory at Argentan, France for breeder Newsells Park Stud while three-year-old NASHWAH broke her maiden tag at Fannie Bay, Australia over 1,300 meters. Three-year-olds OLINDO and DORADO both registering their first wins on July, 29 in Australia, respectively at Cairns and Northam. TORONADO ended July the same way he started August, with a success on both occasions: LEGIONARIO crossed the finish line first at La Zarzuela, Spain on July, 31 while two-year-old AYRTON showed impressive on August, 1st at La Teste-de-Buch to break his maiden tag at second asking for breeders Thousand Dreams and F. Buzon.
