International round of winners

A triple of winners in a day celebrated for MEHMAS at Dundalk, UK on December, 8. Two-year-old PANDEMIC PRINCESS broke her maiden tag for breeders Kirsty and Sarah Connell, imitated a few minutes later by three-year-olds MULGRAVE for Tally-Ho Stud and MASSAMAN for Killarkin Stud.


TORONADO registered also three winners this week in three different countries. The National Stud-bred JUST ALBERT made a winning seasonal comeback on December, 6 at Wolverhampton, UK while ever-consistent two-year-old TWILIGHT added a first victory to his tally on December, 11 at Pau, France for breeders SCEA des Prairies and Mrs S. Jeffroy. Third musketeer was I’M ON BREAK who secured a fourth victory on December, 12 at Tamworth, Australia.


SHALAA also honored number three with a triple of winners collected on December, 11 on both sides of the world. In France, juveniles SIMPLY SOUTHERN and MICOLEO both crossed the finish line first, respectively at Pau for breeder P. de Watrigant on his second attempt only and at Deauville for breeder Scuderia Micolo SNC for a second career-victory. Three-year-old OTELO completed the duet when defeated his 12 rivals at Wangarratta, Australia.


Haras de Bouquetot-based OLYMPIC GLORY was represented in the winners’ enclosure by two-year-old MAMMALINA who broke her maiden tag on December, 10 at Marseille Pont de Vivaux, France for breeders J. Kilpatrick and Ecurie Ades Hazan, and by three-year-old OLYMPIC HERO who proved best on December, 12 at Pisa, Roma.


RULER OF THE WORLD completed his tally of winners in Italy with the success of three-year-old KILLER COFFEE over the 1,500 meters of Pisa racecourse on December, 9.
