Haras de Bouquetot-based stallion TORONADO kept on the good score this week again and delivered new winners every single day. Down-under, DANCE DATE set the ball rolling with a first victory by one length in a 1,200m maiden test at Ballarat on August, 11 and CHINA AFFAIR boosted his tally with a third success on August, 12 at Sandown. Abroad, three-year-old filly PEEKABOO crossed the finish line first at Ankara in a handicap test over 1,600m on August, 13, TULARKA got the better of her opponents at Praha on August, 15 and RESOLUTION made the good resolution of winning in a handicap test at Kranji on August, 16.
TORONADO recorded two two-year-olds winners in two different countries on August, 14 with SCEA des Prairies, T. Jeffroy and B. Jeffroy-bred CASH EQUITY claiming victory at Saint-Malo over 1,600m and Lady Halifax-bred GUMDROP getting the better of his rivals at Chester in a handicap test.
All the action took place in France this week for our stallion OLYMPIC GLORY with his two-year-old filly ASTERELLA collecting a first success by 5,5 lengths on August, 13 at Deauville for her breeder J. Goelet.

MEHMAS figure en tête de liste des étalons de première production en Europe par les gains et s'illustre comme le premier jeune étalon de la saison à avoir franchi la barre des 20 lauréats individuels. Elevé par Tally Ho Stud où est également stationné MEHMAS, AUSSIE STORMER a perdu son statut de maiden à Wolverhampton le 11 août tandis que le jour suivant, BILLIAN a signé sa deuxième sortie d’une victoire à Beverley pour le compte de son éleveur Michael G. Daly, offrant à son père un 19ème succès individuel. Un palmarès impressionnant qui s'est enrichi d'un 20ème gagnant individuel le 16 août avec la victoire d'URBAN WAR, élevé par Michael Buckley, et vainqueur à Ripon pour sa deuxième sortie.
L’étalon du Haras de Bouquetot, TORONADO, continue de maintenir ses excellents résultats et a produit cette semaine au moins un gagnant par jour. En Australie, DANCE DATE a ouvert le bal avec une première victoire d’une longueur le 11 août dans un maiden disputé sur les 1.200m de Ballarat tandis que CHINA AFFAIR a agrémenté son palmarès d’un troisième succès le 12 août à Sandown. A l'étranger, la pouliche de trois ans PEEKABOO a franchi la ligne d’arrivée en tête le 13 août sur les 1.600m d’Ankara, TULARKA a pris l’avantage le 15 août à Praha et RESOLUTION a tenu ses bonnes résolutions en gagnant son handicap le 16 août à Kranji.
TORONADO compte également sur un beau doublé de deux ans le 14 août dans deux pays différents. CASH EQUITY s’est imposé en France à Saint-Malo pour ses éleveurs SCEA des Prairies, T. Jeffroy et B. Jeffroy, et quelques minutes plus tard, GUMDROP a accroché une victoire en Angleterre à Chester pour son éleveur Lady Halifax.
Toute l’action s'est tenue en France cette semaine pour notre étalon OLYMPIC GLORY avec l’impressionnante victoire par 5,5 longueurs de la protégée de J. Goelet âgée de deux ans, ASTERELLA, le 13 août sur l’hippodrome normand de Deauville.
