New cascade of Group performances for our stallions

Splendid treble of Group performances on the inaugural day of the 2022 Royal Meeting of Ascot for our Tally-Ho Stud-based MEHMAS, including an exciting second place under our colors in the G1 St James’s Palace Stakes for LUSAIL. Our three-year-old dual Group winner entrusted to Richard Hannon and ridden by Patrick Dobbs paid a tribute to GALILEO GOLD who impressively landed the very same race in 2016 at Royal Ascot.

LUSAIL was joined by R. Ryan-bred ACKLAM EXPRESS who added a new Group 1 performance to his tally when finishing third in the G1 King’s Stand Stakes over five furlongs, and by two-year-old PERSIAN FORCE who displayed all his talent to finish strong second in the G2 Coventry Stakes on his third outing only for breeder Tom Lacy.

MEHMAS secured additional victories this week, including a win on his seasonal comeback for Tally-Ho Stud-bred LITTLE PRAYER on June, 16 at Lingfield, UK and a fifth career-success for D.R Tucker-bred CLARENDON HOUSE on June, 14 at Beverley, UK.

Haras de Bouquetot-based OLYMPIC GLORY celebrated two new international Group performances, starting with the success of TOURBILLON DIAMOND in the G3 The Premier Plate at Sha-Thin, Hong-Kong on June, 19. The C.S Shum-trained five-year-old was the winner of the G1 QEII Cup last season before finishing runner-up in the 2022 renewal of the same race. Legendary GRAND GLORY claimed her best career performance when finishing third in the prestigious G1 Prince of Wales’s Stakes on June, 15 at Ascot, UK and could now target in France the G1 Prix Vermeille, the G1 Prix de l’Opéra or the G1 Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe after a seasonal break.

TORONADO joined the gang with a new international Group performance to his credit, courtesy of LUCKY EXPRESS who grabbed the second place of the G3 Premier Cup at Sha Tin, Hong-Kong on June, 19. Additional victories of the week included the new success of PEEKABOO at Istanbul on the very same day and the second career-victory of three-year-old MERE FANCY over the 1,600 meters of Sandown, Australia on June, 15. Our Haras de Bouquetot-based stallion collected a duet of winners on June, 18 down-under, TORRID AFFAIR breaking his maiden tag at Walgett and RON O claiming a success in a handicap race at Redcar.

Haras de Bouquetot-based AL WUKAIR collected two victories with his three-year-olds in France, starting with Ecurie Brillantissime and Chauvigny Global Equine SASU-bred TOOCOOLFORSCHOOL proving he learned the ropes to win over the 1,100 meters of Saint-Malo, France on June, 19. B. Vitale Brovarone-bred KHAMMA joined the dance with a second consecutive success at Craon on June, 13.

Congratulations to all connections!
