New serie of Stakes performances for our stallions

Already impressive on the sales ring last week, our Haras de Bouquetot-based ZELZAL continued to shine with his two-year-olds with a 43% winners to runners recorded. His 10th individual first crop winner was courtesy to Haras du Quesnay-bred ZELZALITA who justified favoritism on October, 23 to break her maiden at first asking by 2 lengths at Cholet, France.

SHALAA enjoyed a week full of victories, starting with a double of three-year-old winners on October, 18 at Muswellbrook down-under. MOBSTAR broke his maiden tag at first asking while TIDAL IMPACT collected her second-career victory in a handicap over 1,000 meters. In Australia, two-year-old SEMILLION opened his winning account at first asking at Moonee Valley, while three-year-old POOL PONY defeated his 11 rivals over the 1,400 meters of Sunshine Coast.

Last of the serie was our two-year-old WELWAL who remained just as impressive as on his debuts under our colours. Bred by Oceanic Bloodstock SARL, Mme A. Gravereaux and OTI Management PTY Ltd, he landed his second win in style at Deauville, France under the ride of Cristian Demuro and for the training of Jean-Claude Rouget.

He was followed by ever-consistents four-time winner DALTORO at Ipswich, Australia, five-time scorer LEGEND OF ZORRO at Geelong, Australia and first time winner SOTRMTROUPER at Happy Valley, Hong-Kong. On the other side of the Chanel sea, four-year-old SHE CAN DO and VERTICE defeated 13 rivals each to win respectively at Yarmouth, UK on October, 19 and at Newcastle, UK a few minutes later. In Australia, DINADO ended the week with a new success for TORONADO when storming home at Kembla Grange on October, 23.
