Two Stakes victories for Olympic Glory

OLYMPIC GLORY confirms to be one of the best values in France and in Europe and registered a terrific new week with two Stakes victories and numerous winners. MINTD was the first to open the weekly mark when defeating his 8 rivals to win the G3 Old Forest Mint Julep in the United-States at Churchill Downs on June, 12. The following day in France at ParisLongchamp, M. Fernando Bermudez-bred JANNAH FLOWER celebrated her first attempt at Stakes level by breaking her maiden tag in beautiful style in the Listed Prix Melisande on her third start only. The G1 Qatar Prix Vermeille could be an option in September for this three-year-old lightly raced filly with a nice turn-of-foot. A few minutes later, G1-placed and Haras de Bourgeauville-bred GRAND GLORY was finishing good third in the G3 La Coupe, only finding the pace too slow.

Our Haras de Bouquetot-based stallion enjoyed a fine run of form with plenty of individual scorers worldwide, including unbeaten two-year-old GAME RUN who displayed another powerful turn-of-foot to easily land the Prix des Pivoines on June, 9 at Lyon-Parilly on his second start for breeder Haras de Saint-Julien.

In France, three-year-old Mrs and Mr G. Forien-bred OLYMPIANA was a first time winner over the 1,800 meters of Compiègne on June, 11, while at the same place a few minutes later, four-year-old TEPEKA was celebrating a second success in a 2,000 meters handicap for breeder Haras de Mandore. The trio of French heros was completed by Haras d’Etreham-bred FAITH OF HOPE who defeated his 11 rivals in a 2,800 meters handicap race at ParisLongchamp on June, 10.

Overseas, Stiftung Gestut Fahrhof-bred PYTHION opened the week with a success at Listowel, Irlande on June, 7 and MK & A Doyle OLYMPIC CONQUEROR registered a conquering sixth victory at Uttoxeter, UK on June, 10.

Tally-Ho Stud-based MEHMAS continues his outstanding run with a 11th first-crop individual Stakes scorer and a 3rd Listed-winner in the past 15 days courtesy of LINE OF DEPARTURE, the CN Farm Ltd-bred three-year-old returning in style to land the Listed Cathedral Stakes at Salisbury, UK on June, 13. MEHMAS also impressively celebrated his 9th and 10th individual 2-year-old winners of the year, starting with NIGHT CANDLE who broke her maiden tag on June, 7 under our colors for trainer Richard Hannon and jockey Pat Dobbs on her third start only. Our juvenile was swiftly imitated by Tally-Ho Stud-bred MOJOMAKER who celebrated his first victory in style with no less than 6 lengths ahead of his rivals on June, 11 at Sandown, UK. Stephanie Hanly-bred FOOLS RUSH IN made a winning return by 2,5 lengths at Haydock, UK on June, 10 and was the first of MEHMAS' three-year-olds to cross the finish line first this week, with TAKEKO at Ovrevoll, Norway on June, 10 and CLARENDON HOUSE at Bath, UK on June, 12.

Superstar TORONADO added a new Stakes performance to his already impressive tally with SCEA des Prairies and T & B Jeffroy-bred CASH EQUITY finishing strong 3rd in the Listed Prix Rigway over the 2,000 meters of ParisLongchamp, France. At the same place a few minutes later, four-year-old ALJUMAYLIYAH bred at Haras de Bouquetot was a third time winner in the 1,400 handicap race of the card. Additional international scorers of the week for TORONADO included a double on June, 9 with WILD CHAP scoring at Canterbury, Australia and EL INGRATO crossing the finish line first at San Sebastian, Spain. In Australia, three-year-old LULU DARLING was a winner first time out on June, 10 at Ballarat and TEDDY MERCURY made the show at Swan Hill on June, 12.

Tally-Ho Stud-based GALILEO GOLD celebrated his third individual first crop hero courtesy of HELLOMYDARLIN, a Tally-Ho Stud-bred two-year-old filly who proved best on her debuts.

Haras de Bouquetot-based SHALAA was honored in the USA with three-year-old SEMBLE JUSTE who claimed it right to win at Churchill Downs.

Congratulations to all connections!
