February starts with plenty of victories

Succession of victories for our colours to begin February, starting with the impressive success of MISHGAR on his debut run at Cagnes-sur-Mer, France on February, 3 under a sharp ride from Cristian Demuro. Raised at Haras de Bouquetot and entrusted to Jean-Claude Rouget, he registered yet another promising success for our young ZELZAL.

On the other side of the Atlantic, our KANAAN owned in partnership with S. Rocco broke his maiden tag at second asking at Gulfstream Park, USA with Irad Ortiz in the saddle for the training of Christophe Clément.


Another young stallion honored this week was ECTOT who got his fifth individual first crop winner of 2022 courtesy of CATAPUM. Already a two-year-old hero, the Haras Garmar-bred secured his second victory on his seasonal debut on February, 2 at Pau, France.


TORONADO continues to impress, registering 47% lifetime winners to runners (north hemisphere) and being one of the most consistent sources of Blacktype performers in the world. His 2021 yearling sales averaged ten times his stud fee and he celebrates new victories each week all over the planet. JEKYLL’N’HYDE was the first to open the score in February when defeating his 14 rivals at Sandown, Australia on February, 2 for a second career-victory. GUNNA GUNNA followed the lead to break his maiden tag at Kyneton, Australia on February, 5 while TORONADO PHANTOM came first on February, 6 at Happy Valley, Hong-Kong to secure his third success.


OLYMPIC GLORY was celebrated on the French riviera with five-year-old JC.Seroul-bred OLYMPIE who secured a second consecutive success and fifth career-victory on February, 1st at Cagnes-sur-Mer, France. On the other side of the planet, POST FREE crossed the finish line first on February, 6 at Goulburn, Australia to add a second victory to his tally.


RULER OF THE WORLD was seen in the winners’ enclosure in Italy with three-year-old HONEY WORLD scoring over the 2,300 meters of Roma on February, 4.
