Additional victories for our Haras de Bouquetot-based stallion included the new success of OLD TOWN ROAD on April, 18 over the 1,000 meters of Augathella. In France, Mrs J.L. Giral-bred OLYPA secured her fourth career-victory on April, 22 at Saint-Galmier, three-year-old HAUSSEZ opened his winning account at first asking for breeder Franklin Finance SA on April, 24 at Le Pin au Haras and three-year-old GRAND CRU crossed the finish line first on April, 23 at Strasbourg for breeder Mandore International Agency.
Unbeaten in France in three starts, the SCEA des Prairies and Ecurie de Castillon-bred four-year-old son of MEHMAS CHEZ PIERRE displayed all his talent overseas to win easily the Listed Henry S. Clark Stakes at Laurel Park, USA on April, 23. On the very same day on the other side of the Atlantic ocean, four-year-old DHA LEATH made a winning seasonal comeback at Limerick, Ireland for Bernard Cooke. Second double of winners in a day for MEHMAS was at Doncaster on April, 22 with four-year-olds BLISSFUL SONG and FROG AND TOAD winning respectively for breeders Hyde Park Stud and Manister House Stud and K. Fitzpatrick. Also aged four, ANGEL OF HONOUR proved best at Istanbul on April, 20 over 1,200 meters.
Our homebred LAHAYEB secured his first victory on April,24 at Auch, France over 10 furlongs. In the care of trainer Jean Claude Rouget and ridden by S. Le Quilleuc, he is the third product of No Truth, a daughter of Classic-placed STATE CRYSTAL from the family of ZELZAL.
Haras de Bouquetot-based AL WUKAIR congratulated AL JOY for his second consecutive victory at Milano, Italy on April, 18 in the Premio Vergano race, for a total of seventh individual victor recorded this season.

Five-year-old GODDESS OF FIRE kept on the good scores on her seasonal comeback at Yarmouth, UK on April, 19 for a 8th career-victory offered to breeder Miss G. Abbey and four-year-old TORNADIC was a first time winner at Compiègne, France on April, 22 for breeder Stowell Hill Ltd.
