Group winner for Zelzal

Our Haras de Bouquetot-based ZELZAL celebrated his first Graded Stakes winner courtesy of OURAIKA. The three-year-old filly bred by Khalifa Mohammed Al Attiyah at Haras de Castillon defeated her rivals in a thrilling finish to win the G3 Sweet Life Stakes at Santa Anita, USA. She is the half-sister to Stakes-placed COMPLICATION and SIMPLICITY.

Haras de Bouquetot-based ECTOT sports a strong record of 40% winners to runners with his first crop, already boosted by 6 successes in 2022 with exciting debut scorers BENNETOT, LOUVETOT and JOARDANELLA. Latest victory was credited to Mlle M.L. Besnouin and J.M. Feuillet-Besnouin-bred JORDANELLA who remained unbeaten on February, 12 at Chantilly, France on her second start, showing again a strong burn of speed.

Third victorious musketeer was AL WUKAIR with INISHNEE who opened her winning account at third asking at Chantilly, France on February, 12 for breeder Ballysax Bloodstock Ltd.

One of the best values in France, OLYMPIC GLORY was responsible for 45% winners to runners in 2021, with our four-times Group 1-winning miler being the sire of two Group 1 winners WATCH ME and GRAND GLORY, as well as 19 other Stakes performers worldwide. ATHMAD boosted the scores this week with a seventh win collected at Wolverhampton, UK on February, 12 for breeder Rosetown Bloodstock.

From his headquarters at Haras de Bouquetot, our stallion TORONADO was celebrated all over the planet. In France, three-year-old WINNAN defeated her 10 rivals to open her winning account at Marseille-Pont de Vivaux on February, 9 for breeders Haras du Logis Saint-Germain and J. Para. In the USA, COME RIGHT BACK came right back to the winning post when scoring over the 2,000 meters of Belmont Park on February, 7. In Australia, UNIQUELY proved to be special when crossing the finish line first at Ballarat on February, 8 and MERLIN’S CHARM revealed her charms when winning at Park on February, 10.

Tally-Ho Stud-based MEHMAS celebrated new successes with his three-year-olds in the UK, Ken Carroll-bred SHAMLAAN winning his fourth race on his seasonal comeback at Wolverhampton on February, 7 and Caroline and Stephanie Hanly-bred NIKKI’S GIRL opening her winning account on her first start of 2022 at Chelmsford on February, 11. Third scorer of the week was courtesy of four-year-old CHEMEH who was honored at Siracusa, Italy on February, 12.
