Splendid second G1 victory for our Haras de Bouquetot-bred OLYMPIC GLORY with GRAND GLORY displaying a terrific turn-of-foot to grab the G1 Prix Jean Romanet on August, 22 at Deauville. The ever consistent five-year-old Classic-placed is now a three times Group winner, following a success in the G3 Prix de Flore at Saint-Cloud and in the G3 Grand Prix de Vichy at Vichy a month ago. She could now target the G1 Prix de l’Opéra to boost OLYMPIC GLORY’s tally new to WATCH ME.

On the very same day, OLYMPIC GLORY celebrated a winner on the other side of the planet with FLYING SCOTSMAN scoring in Australia at Tamworth, and registered a new victory a few days earlier in the UK with SON OF SAMPSON defeating his 8 rivals at Newcastle on August, 21.

Tally-Ho Stud-based MEHMAS keeps showing highly impressive and celebrated a beautiful second individual G1 winner in GOING GLOBAL, the N. Hartery-bred filly from his first crop of 3-year-olds proving to be one of the most consistent turf fillies of the West Coast when deservedly landing the G1 Del Mar Oaks, USA on August, 21. On the very same day, two-year-old CATURRA was a runner-up in the Listed Roses Stakes at York, UK for breeder Tally-Ho Stud, swiftly imitated by three-year-old TAKEKO who finished third in the Listed Lanwades Stud Stakes the following day at Ovreroll, Norway for breeder Old Carhue Stud.

The second Group victory of the week for MEHMAS was grabbed by two-year-old LUSAIL, bred by Tally-Ho Stud and already a splendid G2 July Stakes winner on July, 8 at Newmarket under our colors. Entrusted to Richard Hannon and ridden by Pat Dobbs, he doubled the score when registering a cozy win in the G2 Gimcrack Stakes on August, 20 at York, UK.

Additional victories were celebrated on both sides of the Channel sea on August, 17 with two-year-old RYAN’S PARTY grabbing a first win at Hamilton, UK for breeder Gigginstown House Stud and three-year-old TAPETEN TONI scoring on his seasonal comeback at Deauville for breeder SAS Ecurie Normandie Pur-Sang.
