Spectacular week for our colors and stallions

Our outstanding homebred AL HAKEEM returned a winner in the G2 Prix Guillaume d’Ornano on August, 15 at Deauville, France during the prestigious Deauville race meeting and is now looking to the G1 Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe. Bred at Haras de Bouquetot, our powerful colt in the care of Jean-Claude Rouget was ridden to victory by Cristian Demuro. On the very same day, our Stakes winner and multiple Group performer SAMAHRAM recorded another strong performance when finishing third in the G3 Prix de Lieurey at Deauville, France. Trained by Francis-Henri Graffard, he was ridden by Christophe Soumillon.

Our third musketeer of the week was our homebred BEYLERBEYI who posted impressive winning debuts at Deauville, France on August, 16. In the care of Jean-Claude Rouget et under the ride of Cristian Demuro, our Haras de Bouquetot-bred easily defeated opposition on his first time out in the 1,300 meters Prix de Vernon. Our powerful colt is out of Group performer GHERDAIYA, herself by Shamardal.


Haras de Bouquetot-based AL WUKAIR celebrated his first Stakes winner courtesy of three-year-old LA MEHANA who took by 2,5 lengths the 2,800 meters Listed Prix Michel Houyvet at Deauville, France on August, 15 for breeder Noir et Or Elevage SA. Three-year-old SAID was also seen in the winners’ enclosure a few minutes later when coming home first at Merano, Italy for breeder SCEA Eric Feurtet.


Tally-Ho Stud-based MEHMAS celebrated a strong G1 performance courtesy of two-year-old PERSIAN FORCE who finished runner-up in the G1 Darley Prix Morny on August, 21 over the 1,200 meters of Deauville racecourse, France. The T.Lacy-bred juvenile was swiftly imitated by TAKEKO who finished runner-up in the Listed Lanwades Stud Stakes at Ovrevoll, Norway over 1,600 meters.

MEHMAS was also responsible for a international collection of winning three-year-olds, starting on August, 15 with Mr P. Turley-bred LECALE’S DESTINY who lost his maiden tag at Dundalk, Ireland on his third outing. Woodtown House Stud-bred ISCA opened her winning account on August, 16 at Deauville, France while the following day, R.Roberts-bred BICEP was crossing the finish line first at Musselburgh, UK. TURN ON THE JETS bred by Mr D.Byrne was the last of the series with his success on the other side of the Atlantic sea at Del Mar, USA on August, 18.


From his headquarters at Allevamenti della Berardenga, RULER OF THE WORLD collected a new performance at the highest level with G1 winner LA PETITE COCO securing the third place of the G1 Darley Yorshire Oaks at York, UK on August, 18.


Tally-Ho Stud-based GALILEO GOLD congratulated P. Williams’ three-year-old OSCULA who followed-up his multiple Group victories by a success in the G3 Prix de Lieuray over the 1,600 meters of Deauville, France on August, 15.


Haras de Bouquetot-based ECTOT had a triple of winners, including a duet on August, 21. Juveline ENORINA defeated her 10 rivals at San Sebastian, Spain while S.Vidal-bred three-year-old SIRIUS was securing her second career-victory over the 2,400 meters of Le Lion d’Angers, France. SCEA des Praries and B. and T. Jeffroy-bred AOUR was honored at Clairefontaine, France on August, 19


Haras de Bouquetot-based TORONADO completed the splendid weekly collection of winners with two scorers, Haras de Bouquetot bred three-year-old SANDSTORM at Chelmsford, UK on August, 16 and six-year-old PIZZO FALCONE at Merano, Italy on August, 20.
