Stakes collection for our stallions

Two-year-old LOVE TOO showed plenty of talent to offer an impressive victory to his sire Haras de Bouquetot-based ECTOT on his first start on July, 24 over the 1,400 meters of Dieppe, France for breeder E. Ribard.


Our three-year-old homebred JOUZA was one of four blacktype performers brilliantly recorded by TORONADO. In the care of Henri-François Devin, she displayed a powerful turn-of-foot to land her first Stakes success in the Listed Prix Madame Jean Couturié at Vichy, France on July, 21 with Clément Lecoeuvre in the saddle. Our promising filly was raised at Haras de Bouquetot. A few days earlier, TORONADO celebrated a new Group winner courtesy of ever-consistent PEEKABOO landing the G2 Osmangazi Kososy over the 1,400 meters of Bursa, Turkey on July, 15 and added a new Group performance to his Australian tally with the third place of MARIAMIA in the G3 Bletchingly over the 1,200 meters of Caulfield, Australia on July, 23. Five-year-old FENDER joined the dance when finished third in the Listed Grafton District Sc. Ramornie on July, 13 over the 1,200 meters of Grafton racecourse.

TORONADO celebrated also the successes of three-year-olds EXOPIPI and WIMMAN on both sides of the planet, the first named breaking her maiden tag at Mildna, Australia on July, 22 while Haras du Logis Saint-Germain and J. Para-bred WINNAN claimed a fourth win at Chantilly, France over 1,200 meters on July, 12.


New Group performance secured for Tally-Ho Stud-based GALILEO GOLD courtesy of three-year-old OSCULA who finished runner-up in the G3 Valiant Stakes on July, 23 at Ascot, GB. G1-placed at two and Listed winner on her seasonal comeback, she was bred by Padraig Williams.


Haras de Bouquetot-based ZELZAL celebrated two Stakes performances with his three-year-olds, highlighted by the Group victory of three-year-old ever-consistent DOLCE ZELZAL who added to her exciting tally the G3 Lake George at Saratoga, USA on July, 22. In France, ML Collet, M Collet and J Collet-bred PERLE ROUGE finished runner-up in the Listed Prix Madame Couturié at Vichy, France on July, 21 on her first attempt at the highest level, only beaten by TORONADO’s JOUZA.


It was a winning seasonal return for our homebred CALGARY, multiple winner son of OLYMPIC GLORY who carried our colors to victory by two lengths at Saint-Malo, France on July, 19. In the care of Jean-Claude Rouget, he was ridden by Enzo Crublet. Our Haras de Bouquetot-based stallion was also honored at Vichy, France with the wins of J. Kilpatrick and Ecurie Ades Hazan-bred MAMMALINA over 1,400 meters on July, 20 and of Haras du Cadran and Mrs M. Stadelmann-bred SILVER SCHNOK over 2,000 meters on July, 22.


New Group success for Tally-Ho Stud’s MEHMAS with first crop MINZAAL bouncing back to form by winning the G3 Hackwood Stakes at Newbury, GB on July, 15. Out of 2022, this juvenile Group winner became MEHMAS’ 14th individual Stakes performer worldwide. Additional victories of the week included an exciting double on July, 15 with two-year-old JUGANDO crossing the finish line first at Clairefontaine, France for European Bloodstock Management and three-year-old SILKY WILKIE getting the best of his rivals at Hamilton, GB for Mrs Claire Doyle. Randolf Stevens Limited-bred THE COVEX KID secured his fourth career-success on July, 13 in a handicap race at Brighton, UK over 8 furlongs, followed-up by three-year-old HAZY MEHMORY who broke his maiden tag at Down Royal, UK on July, 22 for Ballycrighaun Stud. On the same day and on the same racecourse, MASSAMAN was the winner of a handicap race for breeder Killarkin Stud. Last of the serie overseas was four-year-old RABAT in a handicap race at Yarmouth on July, 21 for Tally-Ho Stud and two-year-old THE BULLION BOMBER who broke his maiden tag at Chelmsford on July, 24 for Tally-Ho Stud.


Our Haras de Bouquetot-based AL WUKAIR celebrated a second consecutive victory at Clairefontaine, France on July, 23 with his three-year-old daughter LA MEHANA bred by Noir et Or Elevage.


Third homebred winner of the week was SHALAA’s DAMSEL who broke her maiden tag over the mile at Aurillac, France on July, 24 under the ride of A. Bendjama and the training of Simone Brogi.
